I was there about a month ago. I had heard stories on the forums but this was the first time I witnessed it. I was in the back at the Rolex counter when an oriental man walked up and asked the salesman if he had any Rolex in stainless steel. The salesman answered, "No" and the gentlemen turned around and walked out. I got the impression he would have purchased any stainless steel watch they had.

FRA’s a desert. There’s another dealer over at the Squaire (where the Hiltons are) and it’s been empty pretty much since this whole thing began, too.

Was just in Munich this week same story in many of the ADs hardly anything stock. Munich airport did however have a white gold yacht master II... not my thing but one of the more interesting pieces I’ve seen on display of late

The AD I have used told me when chatting about Rolex said they’d had one of their best years ever (long established independent) this year! Obviously straight in and straight out, nowt for the window

My ad told me the same thing one of their best years ever. They make way more on jewelry than on Rolex watches anyway. that’s how they stay in business.

If there are any models out in display cases I would think the ADs have put them in the back until after Jan 1st so they can charge more and chalk it up to a Rolex price increase.

That's very possible, also agree on looking at other brands.
