2010 Rolex Air-King

I have had a Rolex Air king 34mm blue dial orange numbers 114234. I have a small wrist. I’m thinking about trading it in for a 39mm Explorer, if I can find one. Am I going to be disappointed in the resale value of my Air-king. Both my sons have no interest in my watch.DB7CCF3D-0001-4490-A2B8-25DE04ACD90F.jpeg

No way to know how you define "disappointed." However, if you think you can trade to a dealer for what they go for retail, you will be disappointed.

Before going on this journey, look at Bobs for the buy price. Never done business with Bobs, but you can get a ballpark idea. Then call some trusted sellers.

IMOP, you will be taking a major step up with the new AirKing.

I wouldn’t use Bobs as a reference. Low ball city but I bet you could get 3Kish private sale.

New Explorer 39mm or Air-King 40mm are real beautiful watches, but your 34mm is a classic. If you need to sell in order to buy, You might do better with a private sale.

The secondary market resellers always give you less.

Honesty fill out the form on crown and calibers website and see what they’ll do for you. They give really fair trade in values in my opinion
