Collection update...watch #13

Hi all,

As some of you may have seen that I finally managed to add an AP (non Royal Oak - yes really!) to my collection.

So I thought a nice way to sign off for the year is to share the collection with TRF. I really appreciate the wisdom that I have learnt here and there are a few special members I particularly rely on.

I have noticed the couple of empty slots in the watch box (disgusting I know!) and am thinking about the following brands Vacheron Constantin, FP Journe , Moser and Zenith. Perhaps I can sort out this “issue” in 2020!

Wishing everyone Happy Holidays and hope you enjoy the pics!

Cheers!!

I like the variety in your collection.

I think that an overseas could work well in there. However what is it gonna happen with the ordering? Reverso moves up to middle row and Breitling goes to top!?

Overseas is an excellent suggestion- thank you. You are also spot on regarding the ordering!

Thank you - absolutely nothing wrong with that as long as they are not the exact same 7 Rolex models

After the VCO, an el primero would complete the collection as i dont see a chronograph. Unless you opt to get the VCO chronograph. Personally, i prefer the simple three hander for the overseas.

The monaco is sub-second one? Not a chrono?

Though, you also cant go wrong with a Moser or FPJ.

I like it. Recall looking for it when it came out, but never saw one.

Enjoy your great collection.

Yes the monaco is just sub-seconds. I like your thinking- I have my eye on the el primero 1969....

I already own the wall clock but the chronograph function doesn’t work on it!

Many thanks for the kind words - the aim was to collect the iconic models from each mainstream brand.

Still sort of sticking to that but just buying whatever model I like and if I don’t like anything then give the brand a miss for now.

What a great observation. 2nd gen VC Overseas Chronograph would be the perfect addition to that great collection and Wolf case.
