Count me in the camp of those who advise leaving it. From the pictures, the damage looks very subtle and, as someone has pointed out, enjoying the watch means that something else is inevitably going to happen. I can sympathize with your eye going to it every time you look at the watch, so if it's going to be a problem overlooking it, the repair doesn't seem exorbitant. Maybe try living with it for a month and see if the "newness" of the damage wears off and bothers you less. If it's still freshly painful by then, I think you have your answer and will have given the more conservative approach the old college try.

Send us clearer images and then we can offer real advice. No one can advise you based on those images. In the meantime, this person’s advice might be prudent although I’d bet that your watch is fine.

Also that sucks man! Especially on such a new watch, personally it would really bug me and I would want it fixed. As some one said if you can find a AD with Rolex authorized tech go that route, it’s a fairly straightforward job and they pressure test it etc. and you get it back in a few days vs a few weeks without the watch. If you do send it in take before pics of the watch to document the condition. |

Thanks everyone for the advice, and laughs! Really appreciate it.
I’m going to get it pressure tested and make my decision based on the results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
