Welcome, Barry! Which dial do you have on your Daytona?

Thanks for all the welcome wishes. Some have asked for pictures so I will put them up in a new post rather than add them here.

Welcome Barry!
Greetings from another Floridian here in Miami. Terrific collection and really love to hear stories of guys wearing a Rolex every day for a decade or longer. It's becoming increasingly rare as many of us are flipping every few years or shorter. regards |

welcome to TRF! Bark Prez bands and bezels are very interesting. They remind me of when I was a kid growing up in the late 70's and 80's. It has an old world feeling, that I can really appreciate.

Dalton: Still love my Bark DD. It is my favorite of all my watches. From time to time have thought about replacing it, but every time I try on a newer DD, I still prefer my Bark. Possibly would consider a DDII, but with this economy there is no way I will spend the $$$.
305GMTIIc: Yes, I wore it everyday for 16 years for work, sports, swimming etc. Only stopped being a daily watch after having a Rolex service and they refused to refinish the band due to wear. My AD checked it and advised it was worn, but nowhere near the risk of breaking. Since then I wear it one or two days a month and on special occassions. I now alternate the Daytona and Navitimer as daily watches, except I wear a $20 Timex when playing golf.
