HELP with vintage Oyster Perpetual Chronometer
Hello, I am in possession of my father's Oyster Perpetual Chronometer with serial number 3702 or 13702 ( see attached images). It is a non-working watch so I am really interested in some information on the watch and if it is worth repairing the item. I have no idea about the watch however a local horologist sort of freaked out about it and refused to touch it. He suggested I contact a professional high-end antique conservationist. Any suggestions where I can begin? Thank you for all your help.

Absolute best for bubblebacks in USA is Mr. Taylor in Texas. R.W.T. on this forum. An unbelievable watchmaker!
