Rolex GMT-IIc 116713LN

Hi people!
Can someone answer these questions for me please?

Are the center links on the GMT-II LNc solid gold or hollow?
Is the gold on the clasp Gold plated and does it fade with wear over time as this piece of the strap is always resting on different surfaces?
Does anyone know the weight of this watch?
Last question,
How is this watch rated amongst the Rolex community?

Thank you people for your time

Althoug I'm not an expert I understand the centerlinks on the GMT IIc is solid. I don't think Rolex uses gold-plating on any model. It's either gold, SS or Platina.

Thanks, so on the bottom of the clasp, would this be a separate solid piece of gold?

Just to clarify 24k is pure gold content, 18k is 75% gold content.

Having a watch made of 24k gold would be too soft for a watch or any jewellery.

Well, I certainly love my TT GMT IIc

You'e posted a great close-up photo

The middle gold links are definitely solid 18ct gold, as is the bezel encasing the ceramic disc and it's an 18ct gold strip that is attached/fused to the clasp.

Not sure of the weight, but it's heavy, although not as heavy as the all-gold version

It's a solid piece (strip) of 18ct gold gold that is attached to the clasp - definitely not plated.

Here are a couple of shots that I took last year

Definitely go and try one one - it's a very substantial watch and the clasp is a work of art in itself

That is stunning.
I can't seem to find much about the watch on this forum? Thats why i thought it was a little un-popular?
I'm looking at finding one to buy with my April pay packet and i'm really hooked on this model.

Although the stainless new ceramic versions and the classic Pepsis/Cokes are very popular and sought after, the new TT GMT is very popular here on the Forum, too - lots of members own this model and I'm sure that you'll get others adding posts to this thread endorsing your potential choice of Rolex

Thanks for your kind words about mine and I'm confident that you'll love yours, when you pick it up, if that's the one you go for

However, before you pull the trigger, please go and try all the different models that are out there. so that you can make an informed choice on a considered purchase

Stunning

I just want something a bit special as it will be my only Rolex this year.
I love the SS model but this has the little edge to it.
Any news on the weight yet?
