Submariner on Oysterflex......Please share~!

Hello,

I have been thinking to source some Genuine Oysterflex for my 114060.
If you have tried with this combo, please share some photos.
"Preferably without aftermarket End links"

Thanks~

Thanks. It really is. I have a glidelock clasp on it that makes it super comfortable in any circumstance.

Love it.
Good job.
I wish the factory would put SS on Oysterflex.
The yachtmaster has oysterflex, but shouldn't the dive watches have the option?

Nicely done, did you need special spring bars for that?

Nope, its the oem spring bars that came on the watch. I did get them to toss an extra pair in the deal, just so I could have a second set.

It's currently not on the watch, but I happen to have the strap at my desk...yeah, yeah, I'm like that. Anyway, these two pics show the back side and the inside part of the clasp that details what my margin of adjust-ability is in either direction. Hope this helps.

Also worth noting, my wrist is just short of 7.5". I believe I have an E size on the 6 side and an F size on the 12 side. An EE combination did work but the anchor link on the 12 side protruded too far for my liking and didn't quite leave me enough expansion potential. Also of note, with the all metal link bracelet I am 5-5 links.

The OF looks great. I don't have a sub yet but its on the list and I was hoping to this very thing. Love the look and feel of the OF.

Maybe Rolex will give us a RG OF Sub next year....it's still one metal shy of the GMT Master and Daytona line offerings ....

Rolex should make the Oysterflex an available add on option for all models.

what are the part numbers of that oyster flex? I thought you needed end links to fit an oyster flex on a submariner

The AD removed the factory stickers from the OF packaging (odd), so I don't have the part numbers. No end links required.

Does the oysterflex rub at the 6 o'clock and 12 o'clock areas? From my experience putting on a nato strap there isn't much clearance between the spring bars and the case. There's also a ridge at those case areas where it chewed up and frayed a couple of my straps.

Does not rub. Perfect fit with a very slight gap.

I would buy this watch in a heartbeat if Rolex made it. I love the idea of OF on an updated Sub. Photo is from a 2018 article where Monochrome Watches shared their upcoming Basel predictions.

Beautiful, this is exactly how I imagine it would look like. That’s why I am currently sourcing OF to put on my ND sub. But the sizing is very tricky because the sub clasp is a bit bigger. So the size is what I am still trying to figure out. Will definitely share once I actually put it on and have a good fitting
