Help re Ulysse Nardin LE Blue Surf Maxi Diver

OK
Really NO clue on the value of these.
New they were close to 8 k and they were limited.

I have the chance to buy one for $2300 with box and papers.
This sounds like a steal and like something I could list and just make a
easy couple hundred bucks.

Does anyone know about UL and or this line??

Hope the pics help

Blue Surf for $2300 - a steal. However, what you have there is a Blue Wave marine Chronometer, still limited, but is a bit harder to sell. Still a good price, IMO!

Hey, Jeremy! Just read your email - next thing I am responding to!

The Blue Wave is a good price - it is a matter of how long it may take to sell it. For four years UN did these limited editions - Blue Max, then Blue Wave, then Blue Surf, them Blue Seal. All limited to 1846 in steel and 500 in 18k (except Seal, which was 999 18k pieces). Max/Surf are divers, Wave/Seal are chronometers. So, when the Surf came out, noone wanted the Max because of how similar they were. Same with Wave/Seal - since Blue Seal is the chronograph version of Blue Wave. So - it may not be the hottest piece. What you want to make sure is the following:

The watch has a titanium inset in the strap and a titanium buckle. The finish on those is so particular that it has to be done professionally. Make sure that the titanium pieces are in good shape with no deep gouges.

Rubber strap has top be cut to fit one's wrist. Is this one cut? If so - you have to get another (about $250)

Make sure that the certificate coinciding to the serial number is there and that the warranty card is stamped by an AD.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info!
Its in good shape, been worn but not beaten.
Not sure about the strap but I am sure it has (I guess it depends on how big this persons wrist was)

I am pretty sure it has all paperwork.
I know I can't get it down any lower that 2300.
