Great choice! It’s a real classic. I think the low profile also helps it fit well under shirt cuffs.

The BLRO would also look nice as a sport watch that’s on the dressier side.

Looks great! Excellent choice—agree the 16610 looks great with a suit. Enjoy.

Now I want to buy the new GMT Pepsi to complement my sub. :) :)

Here are the pics of my new sub. Hopefully I made the right decision!!

A true classic. Congrats and good luck with the 1[1|2]6710. It’s good to have a five and six digit sports in rotation.

Congrats Allan. Submariner is always Submariner.
Of course it's not a dress watch, but maybe older models goes a bit better with suit if have to. Anyway the watch is great. I have same kind of plans to get a Rolex again. Unfortunately the prices are simply crazy today. (not only Rolex but almost every quality watch brand) 10 years ago I owned blue dial 16613 TT Sub. In those days you could find brand new one about 6K$ or even less in best case.

I am jealous since now I want a GMT Pepsi too.

I love sport watches and only would want to wear a sport watch. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Don’t the GMTs have the same case as the sub? People always say how they prefer the old subs because of the slimmer lugs but they have no problem with the newer GMT? I find this to be the case, maybe I’m wrong.

A GMT next is a good choice.

Stay with the 5 series?
