Do you keep your car engine running when it’s parked in the garage?

Ah yes because every object that is mechanical in nature runs the same and should be treated as such.

It keeps the lubricants circulating through your watch. If you want a car analysis, it would be like letting your antique sit, and have the fuel tank and lines gummed up.

A Watch Winder

Don’t buy a perpetual calendar if you don’t believe in watch winders

I don’t use them myself but that’s because I enjoy setting the watch every time I rotate.

I have a wolf 3 slot winder. It’s a luxury, not a need. A fun way to display and interact with my watches. All part of the hobby for me.

I have ordered a dual watch winder (post #30 this thread) from Wolf but because I only have three watches and rotate then daily I can't see much use for it. As I change watches I simply wind the watch worn 30 times, and then hide it away in the safe. Seems to work for me.
