Nailed it to be honest.

As far as the most versatile Rolex goes this wins over the obvious choice, the explorer.

The dial is stunning and the addition of the date complication, on the oyster bracelet, what a daily.

I bought that same watch a few years ago the day my son was born and I love it.
I love the size and larger hour markers. People say it looks out of proportion but I don't notice that at all on the wrist and love the modern maxi style of it, while it still retains most of the classic DNA.

The newer DJ41’s actually measure in at 39.5mm. Give them a look.
