AP Family...

It’s going to be short-lived, with likely two leaving the family in the near future, but this is my favourite trio so far in my short time collecting.

Blue 15450 and Diver likely to be going, with the silver dial 15450 moving from the safe and onto the watch winder!

That said...may yet keep the blue dial! Decisions decisions!

I agree with the decision, honestly not understanding why you would have two of the same watches. I would move the blue and diver as well if in your position, good luck.

I’d keep the blue. Killer collection regardless.

Yes, the new RO blue is very vibrant and dynamic so I'd keep that and the 300 in black is the best choice for me as the white and blue have less depth than the 400 plus versions. Might be an idea to then switch the Diver to the white dial or even hunt down the CE.

Really tempted by the new 26480...but, an Offshore of any type really only has a place in my collection if it’s used as a tool watch / for the tough stuff.

My sports collection is sorted. I’m done!

My tool/beater collection needs some decisions...currently includes:

- Sea Dweller 116600
- Offshore Diver
- Omega Speedmaster Reduced

Dweller stays. Speedy stays. Diver may be replaced. But, it’s at a value that enables me to wear it for tough stuff...whereas if I trade up to something like a 26480 which I adore, it’s too expensive to be knocking about in.

Not 100% sure what I’m doing with my indulgence collection yet...two 15450’s, a Pepsi, and a Reverso. Blue 15450 will almost certainly go (wife prefers the silver dial and she wears it when we go out), the Reverso is deffo going, and I will probably put the Pepsi in the safe and wear when I fancy a bit of strange.

So, after a few years and many watches, I think I’m almost sorted...just need to finalise the decision on the 15450’s and the Diver. I do like the idea of a different colour Diver.

Unless of course I stumble across a 5711 at retail or I suddenly find the cash for a grail (5270, 5740, or a RM67-02).

Looking at your full collection, I'd most definitely keep the blue ... esp. considering it would be difficult to replace in the future if you change your mind.

That’s a fair point. To appease the wife, will have one attempt at selling and if it fails, it can join the Pepsi in the safe as an occasional bit of strange

I'd get a Diver, CE if poss, or the new blue ROO and replace the Daytona as your tool/tough watch with the AP, it has CE bezel and rubber and a durable movement so you keep the balance you have of tool and sports/special.

Never say never, but probably not. That said, I’ve ordered a RG Daytona on OysterFlex for the wife’s birthday so I may well wear that occasionally!

I’d move ro diver and at least one ro 450. You sure the roo 42 fits, I’ve ruled it out on 6.5

Doesn’t really fit, but it’s a guilty pleasure because it’s such a nice watch. I typically wear it with long sleeves (I.e. with a hoodie) which helps me get away with it!

Do you REALLY have to sell one? Those are all so nice...

I have to say though .. that 5990 ... i'd be happy with that as a one and only. Anyway, keep the blue man ... let your wife wear the silver ... and the Diver is such a classic.

I know exactly where you’re coming from on the 5990, it is incredible. I don’t HAVE to sell one, so having thought about it for a couple of days, I’m probably going to do exactly what you suggest!
