Apologies if I’m late to the party on this, but I just noticed this one posted on the AP website.

Absolutely amazing!

I'm pretty sure that's been there for a while (I may be wrong of course). Nevertheless, it's awesome.

I believe we should be expecting something similar in non-tourb config soon and perhaps a bit more blue.

I love these, they're just so expensive at roughly $300k new if I recall.

Horoloupe posted live shot on IG year ago, and don't remember I saw live shots of this watch after that...

Think this has been out for a year - Japan exclusive.

I saw a similar one but titanium with orange accents at their first AD in Vietnam. Would give these pieces a very long thought at half their price; at nearly $300k it’s a non-starter for me

This watch in a sandblasted platinum case would be awesome imo.

beautiful, just saw it on Ap's instagram, but open worked black ceramic I like better but I guess once you reach that echelon it doesn't matter.

I had my hands on the titanium sandblasted prototype a few months ago and it was pretty badass.

That’s the one I tried on in Vietnam - it’s still available for sale from the AD ($295k).

If they priced that the same as a lower end Concept, I would’ve have snagged it.

Perfect proportions, wrist presence and open working with a chrono! Oh and the scalloped lugs too oof

In Vietnam? Did they open a new boutique there?

No. I asked them to put a ceramic bezel on the sandblasted Ti version and they said no. The Japan one is very nice but I would prefer it to have a tachymetre scale. The little details are important at this level.

Not a boutique, just an AD. They teamed up with Hourglass to start selling their watches. It’s in Saigon underneath where the Mandarin Oriental will be

That makes me feel better.

I made a tentative request for a bezel change for a model that I don't yet own, but to no avail. To be honest I wasn't hopeful given my 'lack' of status with AP, but knowing that you had been successful in the past I thought I'd ask.

Maybe you too are out of favour with AP :)

p.s.

I hope all is well with you over there, be safe and be healthy.

It’s a cool piece, I posted about it back when it hit the website in September last year:
