By and large, these popular sport pieces are with dealers , less so with the ADs. Now Rolex ADs are useless.

I know a dozen people personally (think business connections, Redbar, collector groups) in my city who’ve gotten them at MSRP from an AD. In contrast, I only know 2 others who’ve gotten SS Daytonas at MSRP from an AD out of the same group of people. Anecdotes are useless, but that’s all I know.

Does everyone who is getting a BLRO as of late feel like they are getting the darker dial (I won't say MK3 because the arrows will start flying )

Seems to be a occurrence than most people receive them in the same month. I think a lot of ADs get similar allocations every month probably not exactly the same though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I see them a lot in London. V much the fashion piece much like a Goyard bag etc, so see them on those who may not typically be watch fans.

Is TRF representative of what is happening in the world wide retail market? Impossible to say. What I can say is that I've never seen a BLRO in an AD on on a wrist. Not one, from any era. I've only seen one very obvious fake sat next to me on a plane.

I have noticed that dealers such as Watchbox, DavidSW and Bob's do not have as many BLROs and BLRNs like they used to. Maybe they are not buying them from flippers or ADs...or they are holding them until the market goes up again.

Probably understand the market and don’t want the inventory. And their offers are lower than seller are willing to take.

I've seen three stainless steel BLRO watches on strangers' wrists (two of them were on customers in Rolex ADs and one was on a guy that was in a meeting I was participating in).
I'm not surprised as much to see them on the wrists of guys I know who collect watches. I'd expect they would pick one of them up eventually.

They may not be putting all their GMTs on the website. If they do, it just makes the market look saturated and people will pay more if they think something is scarce.

I’ve seen one on a wrist of a guy who is an usher at a New York City Broadway show. There were so many people there that I wouldn’t have noticed if it wasn’t for him commenting on my Hulk. In the same night I spotted a SD43 in the subway, and a large number of Datejusts

Yes they are everywhere. Just hoarded by grays and potential flippers.
But yes there are 1000s and 1000s of them. Pay up and you will have it delivered to your door within 48hrs. |

My observations are; -You got so it now it seems easy, "everybody's doing it". How long did you wait, a week or two. Guys are still waiting and salivating for more than a year going on two. -Also, all swisslandia was on xmas break, all the shipments are ramping back up to normal so on this forum which isn't an indicator of world sales, there's guys announcing their arrivals. There was a lull during dec/jan because of the break. -The watch was always everywhere to begin with, just in grey dealer hands. Shortage smortage, when I see the grey dealer "chat forum" complaining about shortage then I'll believe one exists, as of this writing one can easily be had via FB, IG, Ch24, and the for sale section, just gotta pay up. ADs are empty because they sold it to these guys first. |

Saw a vintage one on a customer at another AD. This watch is so nostalgic for me. I’m really hoping I can get allocated one. |

Nothing is “rare” here on the Forums...
Personally I’ve seen 1 (other than my own) ceramic Daytona in the wild, and 1 BLRO. |
