Suspect seller - 5 Rolex / 1 Pam

No sales since registering in Aug 2008. Comments?! some of the pictures appear stock. Two of the pictures may have been "borrowed" by the same seller as they appear to have the same background.

the auctions end within hours of each other....appx. 13 hours.

The seller wants paypal payment but is willing to deliver locally. The plus to this, having not sold anything in the past, paypal may hold clearing the payments until the watch is delivered and positive feedback is posted.

hi, I am a private seller (i am not a business) selling off some of my watch collection. I'm selling a majority of my rolexes, as well as, one other brand, so make sure to view my other listed items. I have just purchased a De La Cour watch and would like to make up some of the cost by selling some of my collected watches. My watches are 100% authentic and I do offer a full refund if u are not satisfied with your purchase and if the watch arrives back to me in the same exact condition. Another thing with my auctions listed is that I have no reserve on any watch,, I thought ebay was supposed to be an auction,, not a store which it seems to have turned into,,it seems that 90% of the sellers have buy it now prices which defeats the purpose of an auction,,so highest bidder wins here and all the buy it now sellers can continue to sell the same watch for eight months. I only accept paypal as payment----no other forms are accepted so don't bid if you cant buy with paypal. I live in Scottsdale, Arizona and will be willing to meet local buyers to avoid shipment if is needed, just let me know...Please email with any questions and i will get back to you,,,thank you

Impressive photos

Having 0 feedback as a seller does make things look a little scammish.

Even without scrutinizing the watches, he has mentioned all needed stats as in serial / model and other specs.

If this is a scam its a well thought out one.

De La Cour does have expensive watches in their collection
and does make some that are rather futuristic for my taste.
What I do not understand is, why will you sell your Rolex "asset"
collection to buy, what I feel it is,... a "flop"..?

.

Ebay is changing for the worse! I have over 420 all positive feedback with them and been selling for years. I tried to post a Rolex for sale and they blocked the sale for no personal reason. When asked they told me they randomly pick high risk sale items and block them just for random safety. Nothing to do with the seller mostly the item. I cannot list that item for 3 months.

Hi Biggums,

Check this post out http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=70321

I popped in a c&p of a message what ebay is sending sellers, did you get something like that?

Cheers,

Dave.

...highly SUSPECT...

...as possible SCAM, to include ALL 6 listings.

...could even be an account take-over, without the seller even knowing it.

...if it is, there are going to be some unbelievable mad buyers.

...SEVERAL of the watches appear as stock photos.

...my question is why not post more pic's and pic's of the purported boxes/papers etc?

Stan.

Agreed Stan, If we were to sell any of our prized watches there would be overwhelming evidence in info and photos. seller does have PayPal protection but the listing would be a little more credible if a phone number was included.

I smell a hacked account

I think this is a scam. Not many photos. Also, it's in the writing: u instead of you, the double commas, etc. Anyone with a Dartmouth MBA would not right like that for a business application.

I just tried to pull all of these watches up to look at them again and they have disappeared. I wonder what happened to them?

I just saw your post thinking they were still up. I tried to access them and they are showing up as invalid now. Where did they go?

Hey Terry,

It's 2:30 pm..... Shouldn't you be at work supporting Stan's retirement?

I am, but since I am the; "Chief Dink In Charge" of 32 employees, I can get away with a little screwing off.

Besides, Stan is getting way too comfortable in trying to set my hours for me. I should take him out of retirement and let him experience getting too and fro to work daily.
