I was looking at a few old threads and found this:

Someone debating between a DD40 in platinum and 5711. The responses are quite funny. Someone saying these aren’t in the same price bracket, the DD 20k more, and someone else saying they could always buy the 5711 and sell it at a slight loss if it’s not right for them...

I love the 5711, but have to say it’s current price does seem very high. I think I would take a DD40 YG, DaytonaC and 1815 up down for the price of a current 5711.
