DayDate Daily Wear Picture Request

Been thinking about taking the plunge and finally getting my grail which is a DD 36. I’d need to sell everything else to fund it but I have wanted a DD since I was a kid and saw it in the AD window. Anyway this would become my one and only/daily wear. Curious how the gold will hold up over the years. Anyone got pics of their DD which has been used as a daily wear?

its honestly really hard to see wear on the president bracelet but i tried my best to show it. most of what you see is just fingerprints/dirt though, need to wash it lol. had it for almost 2 years and its almost been my daily for the last year

2+ years.

Almost daily wear...I sometimes swap out for GMT. For some reason the President bracelet doesn’t show scratches that much like my GMT and SD. Buy the watch - you will love wearing it daily.

Thanks all for the pictures so far. Please post more if you have them. I will be getting the DD for sure. Just need to find the right one in White Gold. I figured the president wouldn’t show the scratches as much as the oyster. Had plenty of jubilee bracelets and they hold up better than oyster as well. As this would be a daily wear I won’t be worrying about scratches. They happen especially on a gold piece. I was just more concerned if the gold could stand up to year after year on the wrist without seriously wearing down.

May want to consider a 5 digit as the prices are extremely favorable compared to more recent models.

My A series (1999) 18248. I was able to find a complete set with service papers. Love the way it wears.

The DD holds up really well as a daily wearer, IMO. Here's a couple of pics, one before I had some work done on the bracelet recently (stuck link), and after the service.

P.S. I've had the watch about three years now.
