Caution with this one...

actionalarms( 12)
This is a Mint Condition un-worn 2008 model Mens Rolex Submariner Anniversary Model. This watch was purchased by me in August of 2008. This is a full size 40mm Rolex. The Oyster Band is Stailess Steel. The Dial is Black and the bezel is the very popular anniversary Green.. It has all papers and original boxes. Any questions may be directed to me Joe Wilkins @ actionalarms1@yahoo.com. Buyer to pay for shipping charges. Overnight certified insured delivery will be $40.00. We can ship slower for less money. This is a NO RESERVE auction and will be sold to the highest bidder. Offers are accepted but any transaction must be made through ebay.

That is one hell of a convincing fake if it is, the only thing I can see is the SWISS MADE under the 6 the it should be above all 5 second markers that are shorter not 3, other than that it looks ok.

I think the sale on the Yacht Master was good. It looked like a divorce settlement and someone got a great deal. The paperwork looked good and it was a "D"series watch. This sale looks legitimate as well.

Stan,

here is the listing for YM..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=140293558522

It does not make sense the seller would end the auciton for the highest bidder at $510 without an arrangement.

Further, Paypal only covering his sales to $200...

Just my opinion!

TTG,

The above link is not working.

I also think the Yachtmaster sale is highly suspect to say the least. Plus did he not say that was his only asset and now he is selling a 16610.

How about this Submariner? Several of the Subs on ebay have this dial with the Swiss Made spread across five second markers instead of three. (Notice the bezel insert dot appears distorted in the first pic- don't know why as both photos are the same watch.)

It is hard to tell with these new generation of counterfeits, which is real and which isn't, judging from photographs.

Here is a Y series (2002-03) anniversary Submariner, listed for sale on Time Zone. I believe there was a dial change at one time as this one also has the "five second" spread below the Swiss Made.

There is definitely something that smells on this previously sold 16623 for $510.00. "The seller ended this listing early to sell to the high bidder(s) at current bid price."
Your opinion is exactly just like mine, although I am expressing a belief that is not substantiated by a positive knowledge or proof, I can say, without reservation, that this EBay sale was rigged.

Funny he listed the YM in January as his "only asset" and being forced to sell because of divorce.

Then what about his Sub that he is selling, guess that is not an asset. He probably liked the "markup" he got on his first sale and decided to go for a two-fer.

The timelines just don't add up.
