It'll be engraved on the rehaut at the 6 o clock end, as well as under the bracelet

It does, if you check out the second picture on this thread, you can just about make it out. It's underneath the ring lock

It's a beautiful watch, not my picture unfortunately, but I think it's one of the sharpest watches in the Rolex line-up. I have to admit, it's not particularly easy to see the engraving, but I'm pretty certain it's there. Perhaps a DSSD owner could chip in to confirm/deny its existence.

It's there. Trouble is w/ the domed crystal it's difficult to see even in person. Trying to capture it in photos must be even harder. I verified my serial number the minute I got my watch, but I had to do it outside in bright sunlight. Cheers.

Its there and with the crystals curve on the DSSD it
is hard to see.
I had my DSSD a month before I even realized it was there.

Easiest place to find it is the case behind the bracelet.

It won't show the serial number per se, but it does show the engraved rehaut, which indicates that the serial number will be at the 6 o'clock end

I think it's at the 6 o'clock position on the rehaut (at least my DJ is this way). It's also engraved between the lugs that you can only see by removing the bracelet.
