FS: 1988 Rolex Submariner 5513 with Box and Papers

FS: 1988 Rolex Submariner 5513 with Box and Papers

Serial #: R590XXX

Description: This 1988 watch was produced at the tail end of a long and very successful 5513 model run. Soon to be replaced by the more modern 14060, the late 5513s featured glossy black dials with white gold surround tritium markers. The tritium dial plots and hands are evenly aging to a creamy warm patina and the glossy surface of the dial is aging to a matte finish. The case has been polished but still looks fantastic. The 12 solid link Oyster bracelet has very light stretch and the L2 date code indicates it is most likely original to the watch. The original guarantee papers note that the watch was sold in Guam in 1988.

Offered at: $12,950
