Mine seem to make this tch-tch-tch-tch-tch sound. Then again, when I put it on my glass side table, I can actually hear it go ting-ting-ting-ting-ting.

I was thinking....is there a doctor here or anyone with a stethescope who can records the specific Rolex ticking sound? I thought about it, make a wav file and all, but I do not have the correct tools.

I know a guy who put his watch under an inverted coffee cup, along with the mic from his PC and did an electronic recording of his no-date sub. It worked fine and sounded cool. He posted it on another forum... made a tic-a-tic-tic-a sound.
