Congratulations I tried this one on at last years Basel release party and remember thinking ... those markers looked large compared to most.

So your AD let you order this? I am saving up for the 268655 YM on OF and haven’t enquired about it yet. Hopefully my AD will let me order it.

Yacht-Master 42 & Explorer II lume. Keeping the camera centered and the watches level while in the dark was more difficult than I first expected. They both have awesome lume. In real life the YM42 has a bit more lume and is thus a tad more legible in the dark.

Yes they did order it for me last year. I have been told the 42mm is now an allocated piece but I haven't heard that about the 40mm or 37mm. I would chat up your local dealers and see who is the most helpful in your quest.

Wow. Congrats !
My next purchase will be a WG one - either this or the Smurf. Love the understatedness (is that a word) of the 42 mm YM. Downside is the long wait.
