I decided to take a couple of pix that Al and I forgot to take when he was in town. JJ these are for you. This is one of three ADs in the city (the other two are the same store, two locations). This one is Howard's Jewellry on Sparks Street, and they usually have a full range of SS sports watches in stock, and I'm told at least one SS Daytona in the safe at all times.

The length of the drive depends on what end of town you live in, but from central midtown, it's about 440km one way.

In my pre-father days, I did the drive in just over three hours once. ;~)

im pretty much downtown in the core of TO. is it worth comin up for a visit?

Depends on the reason for coming. It's beautiful, with loads of museums, the parliament buildings, the mint, the national art gallery, loads of bike and hiking trails, the Rideau Canal (which you can skate on in the winter), the Gatineau Park, Quebec is across the river, the market...

Avalon came up here a month ago and posted a load of pix. DO a search and have a look.
