Icon20 Opinions on Possible Trade

Hello there,

I currently own an 1803 Rolex President. It was just serviced by Michael Young. It is from 1972. Has original Hidden Clasp Band. Please see photo.

I am currently looking to trade this piece. I have had some 1680s come my way but yet to have any that really sing to me.

I have been offered on the other hand 2 Tudors, A 2018 Harrods Green Edition New unworn and a Blue Bay New from Jan 2020 along with 2000 Cash.

What do you think about the Tudor deal?

Depending on condition of the Tudor watches not a bad deal with the cash, seen DD of that age sell from around $8500 to £9000 some less and in the real world not the best of sellers.

How did you end up with wideboy hands on a Buckley dial?

I agree. We can argue about preferences for the watches involved on both sides of the trade, but strictly financially speaking, I think this is a very fair swap.

Tudor is nice but it's not a Rolex, I would keep the DD and source the correct hands for the Buckley dial.
