Longest wait for a Sub?
What’s the longest period of time that you’ve heard of someone waiting for a Sub to come once ordered? I’ve read everything from 1 month to 3 years.

Green dial or Black dial? date, or no date? Depends on your location and the AD you are working with. It's an item that arrives and you pretty much need to be in the right place at the right time. If you want one, go in and start saying hello every week. Otherwise I don't believe there will be a specific time frame to get one, varies by location and AD.

Alan is right.
I’d just add that whatever was the known in January, won’t be the norm anymore. I think Rolex will want to make what sells and get them to people ASAP. Enough of this throttling of outputs to create artificial scarcity prior to this. Reduce your SKUs and make what sells. We don’t need 25 dj and over 100 pearlmaster styles. https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/ro...061824449.html |

In the UK you can’t order, if lucky an AD may put you on a waiting list but it took nearly 2 years to get a store to take my details, but they then said it would be unlikely that I would get a Sub, but this was pre pandemic so things may change.

Lately, the question should be “what’s the shortest wait time for a sub”
No more wait for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It was an excruciating wait. Took them almost 30 minutes to remove the stickers, fill out the warranty card and serve champagne.
That was 3 years ago. |

A year ago this week I walked into an AD while visiting Amsterdam and asked politely. They got a Sub out of the safe and made me the luckiest guy around.
Guessing the wait will be minimal when the stores re-open and the used prices have cooled

Longest wait for a Sub?
A couple months with no history. Put my info on a card and called and emailed when no one in their Rolodex wanted one.
Edit: my wife walked in and bought a sub date the weekend before covid shutdown. If you have a woman you can send in they will sell to her.

Been offered a black sub way too many times. Every AD has at least one in their safe. It’s not like it’s rare or anything.
