instant date new GMT master
Hi everyone,
Hope you're ok I've got a question: Happy owner of a GMT2 CHNR since a few weeks, the instant date change everynight at 00h07. Do you think it's acceptable? it's happen often? and if not, to give the watch in repair or wait to the service in a few years? Thanks in advance for the answer and all take care Bénito |

As long as it has changed by the time you waken up then you are good to go for breakfast.
If it really bothers you the hands will be reset during first service.

Mines just back from service, flips instantly at 3 minutes past. And yes it's bugging me but would seem normal behaviour from what I've read. If I manually wind it, it changes instantly at midnight. It's an SD 16600

Acceptable? For me, it wouldn't even be noticeable.

Welcome, that’s perfectly normal for it to do that.

Sleep well while your watch does its work. If it flipped at midnight, it would be a Casio. Which I enjoy for other reasons.

It is a good question since you are a new owner. Aside from the answers already...I’d like to hear from CHNR owners. Do any CHNR owners have a date flip over at or near midnight +/- 7 minutes? Or is it closer to midnight? Asking in the spirit of adding knowledge for the OP... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Set your watch 7 minutes fast, and welcome the new day at exactly midnight.
Beautiful watch BTW. |

The probability of me being up at midnight, and looking at my watch, is about zero.
So this wouldn't bother me at all.
