Fascinating watch! Lovely, too!

Yes, please do post more. This is most enlightening.

X3.
Still, a VERY unique watch, which only a very small handful of people probably own

Despite JJ's opinion that it looks like a utility meter (as mentioned in another thread many months ago), I actually really like it for its unusual approach to timekeeping. Thank you for sharing with us!

That looks like something batman would wear. Seriously cool though! I would love to see one in person.

Agreed. It's really a work of art.

AMAZING piece!
Our local AD wants my business and brings his family into my business on a regular basis.
We have many friends in common and he knows what a watch junkie I am.
He asked why I never shop at his store and I told him about a horrid experience I had with one of his sales reps when looking at an AP, anyway we kept talking and talking and then it came out from under his sleeve... He had on the RG UrWerk and my jaw fell to the ground, I told him thats one of my dream watches (in WG or Plat, not sure what their white one is) BUT simply WAY out of my grasp at this point in life and he laughed and took his off and said no here its right here in your grasp and I snickered, looked at it and held it and then went to hand it back at which point he refused....
Told me he was going out of town till Monday (this was a Thursday) he said I could return it to him on Tuesday when HE took me to lunch...
He wouldn't take no for an answer and WOW what a watch!!!
We had a great lunch, he refused to let me pick up the bill,
I stop in on a regular basis and he never tries to sell me anything
(even talked me out of buying 2 pieces), lets me wear a piece here and
there (I never ask) and we go out to lunch every so often (every so often
when they get in trade ins he sells them to me at a good deal as they dont sell used)..

OK
Enough babble...
Amazing watch I am envious but I am glad I at least
got to experience it in the flesh.

But I prefer this one.
Hi Danny, to answer your question.
Yes the minute hand does retract as it comes to the end of the 59th minute.
And then as the next hour lines itself up, the minute hand from that box is extended. Also as the minute hand moves along it adjusts itself for whereabout it is on the dial. Very clever.
In fact I think that I am looking at talking myself into getting one.

Just a really, really cool watch. A real WIS's watch, if you get my drift. You're a very, very lucky guy.

Love that watch!
