Patek Philippe rose gold color over time?

Was wondering if the rose gold color on PP watches holds up overtime? I haven't been able to find much information on this subject and since RG is made with different metals I wonder if it starts to change color after a few years of regular wrist rotation? Full bracelet 5130/1R worldtime is really itching at me. Can seasoned owners please chime in?

Price of gold vs platinum is now $1,700 and $770. Cost of making a full bracelet one increases for sure. As for the color, I can't spot any difference on a modern Patek even with a 7 year time span on 5980/1r. Only the dial color is a bit darker to my eyes on a recent production.

I’ve not noticed any colour shift on my 5131R in 4 years. I know some rose golds are very susceptible to change with time, Lange’s honey gold goes through a drastic change and quite quickly.

I guess also the environment has effect on colour change ,like watches used in pool or in the sea may have higher impact than dress pieces.

I wonder if the copper in the RG would oxidize if brought into the pool...

The only rose gold I've seen that doesn't really shift much is Rolex's new (well, from many years ago) flavor of Everose Gold.

Mine have stayed the same color and I swim, shower, exercise, sleep with them on. I was concerned about a change but so far it has stayed the same.

Does it get darker or lighter “almost yellow gold?
