My AK 116900 has no serial number on the case

Guys,

I removed the bracelet of my 2nd hand AK 116900 and all i saw was 'Orig rolex design' and 'stainless steel' at 12 and 6 o clock. No model nor serial numbers.

There is serial number is engraved in the inner circumference of the watch at 6 o clock with the rolexrolexrolexrolex...

is this normal?

Thanks much!

Rolex stopped putting the serial number on the case and instead started putting it on the engraved rehaut like you have described.

As to your specific model, I don't know, but I'm sure someone with more knowledge than I will be able to comment...

The serial is now on the rehaut at the 6 Oclock position thats depending on the age of the watch some have serial only between lugs while others like some M serials could have it on the rehaut and lugs but nothing special about that. There is no real 100% cut off time frame, now some V serials had rehaut only, but all G and randoms from 2010 on will have serial on rehaut only.

Rehaut serial only on newer watches

Correct. All Air Kings 116900 will have the serial number at the six o'clock on the rehaut, if it doesn't something is not right...

Thanks for the replies.
What about the engravings 'Orig rolex design' and 'stainless steel' ?

Should it show '116900' instead?

Im concerned mine could be fake?
