Vintage OP Date 1500 real or fake?
Looking to buy the below watch for $2200 USD. I'm a little concerned about the date wheel but other than that it seems to be in good shape. It's from 1964.
Do you guys think it's real? https://imgur.com/a/4L8gOZl |

The hands look like there from a Grand Seiko. It could be real, however, I would pass.

Some very early 1500's came with dauphine hands but that dial seems repainted to me

Its real. Those hands are correct for that dial style and overall is correct for 1964 but it looks like someone brushed the hands and painted the seconds hand. Could be an attempt to hide corrosion.
Moisture has made its way into that movement. Rust and corrosion is present. Hard pass
