I think the YM Rhodium will be a "how did we miss that?" watch

I have watched the "Talking Watches" with John Mayer on Hodinkee many times over and loved when he discussed the two Daytona's that he thinks will be the "how did we miss those?" pieces. (White gold blue dial, yellow gold green dial).

I truly believe the Yacht Master Rhodium dial in a few years will be one of those watches. This is all just my opinion and I just enjoy making discussion here on the forum. However, being released at the same time as the ceramic Daytona's just let this Rhodium dial slip right on by.

I'm seeing a lot more discussion on here about the Yacht-Master lineup and I have a feeling these things will start to pick up in popularity. What are your thoughts? Maybe if I post a guitar video and discuss the Yacht-Master, it'll turn into the jgottsman11 effect?

Personally i think the YM is one of those watches that was all about glam. It's quite in your face when compared to the other models. That bezel seems to scream look at me.
Nothing wrong with that only if you've got it then flaunt it. So for me i had to go for a bit more razzle dazzle. I'd have gone full pm buti ain't got the mular

I agree, love all the versions of the YM. Especially for all the people who don’t like the super case/love the 5 digit look.

I've owned both the Rhodium and Blue YMs and enjoyed both. The only negative I have on the Rhodium is the hands are a bit difficult to see in low light against the Rhodium face. The Blue, on the other, hand is one of my favorites. The blue face in Florida sunshine is amazing.
