Nice picture! How do you rate the visibility of the platinum dial?

For the few days I've had it, the rhodium dial is completely legible unless it's pitch black or completely dark outside. I haven't been this excited about an acquisition of any sort in ages. It exceeded my expectations.

I've seen you posting quite about on these YM threads. It's time for you to get one! haha

Thanks! Am actually looking at them lately, but most likely getting the older 16622 with platinum dial and wondering about silver dials legibility in general

I purchased the rhodium shortly after the first time I saw it. I love the dial and contrast of the blue accents. I wear my ceramics more but this has just enough polish to be on the dressier side of sports models to me. Sits close to the wrist and is super comfortable to wear.

The most underrated of the stainless models. Ive owned the sunburst blue 40MM for 3 years and it just beautiful on the wrist. I think that now most of the stainless models are near impossible to get I believe people will move onto these watches and in time their residuals will become stronger also.

Is it worth an extra $1k for the latest ref 126622? Or get the older 116622 and save $1k? Opinions please...

Thanks. In normal lighting conditions I've never had issues with legibility in spite of offering less contrast than some other models.

To me being monochromatic is an essential part of its unaltered beauty. The sandblasted finish of dial and bezel allows a perfect match and gives the illusion of the two elements merging together. It's subdued most of the time and gently shimmers when the direct light hits it.

The change of dial to sunburst blue and rhodium is a nice addition to the range but makes it look like very different watches. They're cool and trendy, they pop and obey to a different philosophy. I could definitely enjoy wearing these too, but only when I'm in a different mood.
