The serial puts it to 59 / 60.

My big question is - can anyone find me a 5508 with the exclamation point on top of the 6 o'clock marker, rather than the bottom?

I've never seen a 5508 dial like that.

It's difficult to tell from the OP's first photo - but it *could* just be a mark on the dial (although a perfectly placed mark if it is.)

Yes - this is an interesting dial.

The lume is an interesting translucent colour, that is a bit different to the lume on the gilts I have handled (both 1963 underlines, but the lume was very much not translucent).

I found another 1958 dial whose font matches the OPs one quite well.

B14 is sending me a better picture, where the hands aren't in the way of the ROLEX / crown.

I'll be interested what the gilt experts make of the lume.

Keep looking for the bezel. If it has a red triangle, it could be worth as much as the rest of the watch combined.

No expert here but I think that crystal is just so beat up it makes the dial look odd .

you can see what remains of the lume of the "exclamation point" at the bottom

but that lume dot on the top of the 6 o'clock. ... I've seen no example where Rolex places a lume plot above the 6 o'clock marker?

here's a radium dial exclamation point example: https://sg.carousell.com/p/rolex-550...ner-199019899/

Crown is very different on that reference.
