Review of the Blue RubberB on the 126710BLRO
Recently I picked up a blue tang style RubberB strap to try on my BLRO, for a change of pace bracelet to the jubilee and it absolutely doesn’t disappoint. From a quality and attention to detail perspective, this strap sure does surpass its competition. Sure, you pay a pretty penny for all of that...but when you’re putting it on a 5/10/15/20k watch you get what you pay for and you’ll want to feel confident that the strap is going to last and securely hold the watch head. This strap certainly has a premium feel and look to it, one with proper care I'm betting with last for years to come. One thing that RubberB includes in the packaging that I haven't seen before to help you with this is a white rubberb eraser...while not a costly addition, it's a thoughtful one. The shape of RubberB strap and how it integrates into the watch head is perfection with all the lines completely coming together. IMO, this is about as close as you can get to the look and feel of a Rolex manufactured strap without it being an Oysterflex. I won’t dime out any other companies but when I showed the watch on the strap to my wife, even she commented how it looked better than the others I’ve tried.
The quality of the strap itself and the tang buckle is great...and I think it looks darn good with the Pepsi colors! I've tried black straps on the BLRO before and this color just blends with the bezel and case shape much better imo. It’s unrealistic to compare the jubilee and a rubber strap as equals but after trying this on my Pepsi I know it’ll surely have a place in the lineup...it looks great and feels even better on the wrist! Finally, my interactions with the customer service folks over at RubberB about the compatibility and fit of the strap to the watch was a great experience...they were timely, professional and extremely quick to get the strap to me. Including the day I ordered it, it was at my front door in three short days. In short, I highly recommend this strap and the brand to anyone looking for a high quality strap to compliment their GMT or any other Rolex for that matter! And now, for some photos! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Not my cup of tea either, maybe a darker blue would work more for me, but as long as OP is happy -- that's all that matters. I have a black rubber B on a modern Explorer since new (never wore it on the oyster) and love that combo, so i definitely get the allure of the RubberB...

I totally agree. Rolex watches are beautiful but those rubber straps absolutely kill them. Especially the fat lugged 6 digit models. Make them look cheap and tacky. Maybe a NATO, but even then not so sure. Unfortunately these newer Rolexes just don’t look good on anything other than an oyster bracelet.

Personally I prefer the SS bracelet. That blue color overshadows the beauty and f the bezel. Maybe a more subdued blue rubber strap, but still not convinced

I have an Everest for my BLNR I’ve never put on, but want too. I think that shade of blue works better with the rubber straps

I have a black Everest strap for my 16110, took it off after one week, felt like a down grade every time I checked the time!

+1. Had the same feeling. Had a rubber b on a pm Daytona wg panda and also a sd43. Just felt cheap when I looked at it and put it back on original bracelets.

Not really...the spring bars can be difficult the first couple times you do it but just tape the lugs and use a good springbar tool and you’ll be all set....take your time and enjoy the process. |

Love the strap, I think a blue/red digital camp like the ones from HORUS would take this on another level!
