This is my mint 16600. The 3 dots are barely visible. They blend together, sorta.

This normal?

Your winding crown has been over-polished to the extent that the three dots are morphing into one.

If it bothers you, have it replaced.

Well the crown has been polished and is losing the sharpness in the dots, at least.

Outside of something very strange happening to the crown, and a watch shop replacing it with one that has been over polished, i would say yes. The watch watch was polished. I’ve never seen a polish job where the crown was the only thing that needed attention.

It’s okay as the crown still functions. Rolex used to replace the crown at time of service.
If it bothers you, source a crown. It’s an easy fix.
