My 16710's bezel "goes both ways" usually...

Today it's been very difficult to move around. I did a bezel change 2 weeks ago and it's worked fine since. Just today it's gone kinda weird. Anyone else have this problem? It won't turn unless I really get agressive with it. Normally it's smooth as silk...

Please help me

Might have broken or misaligned the spring.

The odd thing is, it was perfect for 2 weeks. I'll have to take it in. It's time for it's appraisal anyways :)

I swapped my bezel, it worked fine for days, then all of a sudden the spring dislodged and broke.

It still turned in both directions but without the clicks like a Tudor. My watchmaker ordered a new one although it took weeks and cost more than you would think.

Hope you get it sorted out,

Hold it under some warm water for a few turns.. It's likely just dirty...

Then tell it to stop being difficult and take a time-out...........

sounds like the spring. happened to my old 16610.

I use a little silicon (gasket silicone) as well on Rolex Bezels....seems to make them smoother

You might have bend your insert...if you do the bezel will not rotate any more or it is very, very hard to do! Take you insert out and another one in...if this works, the insert is not good any more!

Harlan, definitely prefer the Rolex Sub over the Omegas but if offered an Omega I wouldn't kick it off my wrist!!!

UPDATE:

I got my bezel lined up at the top and left it there. After work I worked out with my Rolex on...a big deal considering that I have never done this! I showered with it on and had warm water run all over it and what do you know...it works like a charm now. Apparently there was something agitating the spring. It's working fine now. Thanks again for all your help!!
