Gold spring bars for 1803
When I bought my 1803 (on Rolex leather strap) it came with normal, steel spring bars. I’ve heard that there is a risk of the harder metal steel enlarging the holes on the watch. Where is a good place to get reliable, gold spring bars?

Yes, you can't use stainless steel springbars on a gold case. Take them out now - they'll ruin the holes.
The Rolex RSC will sell you the appropriate gold ones. About 100 USD for the pair. I wouldn't go Ebay due to the risk of fakes and the relatively low cost of getting them directly from Rolex. |
