Looks or Function?
Did you choose your Rolex based on looks or genuine functions?
Or a combination of both I think I mostly chose the Explorer 2 because I liked the look of the white dial, and it's slightly smaller case size. The 2nd time zone is not really something I need on a day to day basis.

No longer for sale, buddy.
After seeing the present shades of BLUE, obviously Rolex are no longer interested in reproducing that shade above once again......so I thought I'd better hang on to it. JJ

Functions? Let's see, obviously a watch has to tell time to be considered a watch, so the only real function my DJ has is the date.... Of course I bought it for looks!

Looks mainly - the functions are a bonus, but peripheral to the purchase decision.
So I'd buy the Deepsea because it looks good on my wrist; the fact that it can withstand 13,000 ft of water pressure provides a nice talking point and is maybe psycholgically comforting at some level but to be honest, it's largely irrelevant to me (because I can barely swim, let alone dive!!) |
