RSC Watch Checks

Hey guys,

This might be a sensitive question, but I figured I'd ask it: How does RSC verify a Rolex watch to be authentic?

I've sent in a couple PM pieces for service estimates and, since I'm the original owner, I know that the PM is real, 100% authentic, and uses on Rolex parts. But say that somebody tries to use RSC to authentic their pieces or sends it in for a periodic service.

Does RSC attempt to authenticate every single component, ie metal is correct (be that platinum, gold, 904, 316, etc), dial, hands, bezel, etc, etc?

Thanks everyone

Yes, they take it apart and look to ensure the parts inside are authentic and not aftermarket/counterfeit.

Thanks, Larry. What about testing the metals on the links, clasp, hands, dial, etc?

Maybe I'm over thinking it
