Any owners of two of same watch?

Anyone own the same exact watch and keep one on rubber strap and the other on the bracelet?

I think it would be more practical if you buy the tools to remove/install the bracelet/strap. It is easy after couple of times you do it.

I suspect many folks have jumped at the opportunity to buy another hot model of a watch they already have just to stash it away unworn. I doubt many people buy a second watch just to have it one a strap.

I dont really see a point in having two for the sake of straps..

I’ve considered buying an SD43 and putting a strap on either than or my SubC because they are close-ish. But I wouldn’t buy multiple of a watch unless I was certain it would make a crazy return in the long-term, but I doubt we will see that with Rolex making 1 million watches per year.

Almost...I have my no date sub on the bracelet and the date sub on rubber. Rubber is better for the gym, yard work, etc.

This the only scenario where I can see people owning two identical watches.

Otherwise, buy a good springbar tool and learn to change the strap (not too difficult once you get the hang of it).

I bough two GMT II's over the past couple years - the CHNR and the BLNR. They are the same Rolex but look totally different. Was reluctant to buy another GMT and was looking at the sub (to complement the CHNR), but the BLNR checked all the boxes - sport watch, jubilee. Love 'em!

I have a varied collection of GMTs as they seem to be my most “go to” watch!

I do have 3 recent Pepsi’s, 1 being what some call “Mk1” due to the bezel colours being lighter shades of blue and red and the other 2 which are the later darker “Mk2” shades

Not of one on bracelet and one on OF. But multiple of same model with different dial or metal.

nope, I think it's excessive, impractical, and silly imo. All you need is a spring bar tool/ tweezers/ tape.

Great duo! I have both myself. They look so different that they are a great pair and having both doesn’t subtract from the other. Waiting to add a meteorite gmt to the couple to make it a universal trio
