I have this and a 15400 so may be able to shed some light. First off, either option is absolutely stunning. You really can’t go wrong. It largely depends on what your collection consists of already.

I see the AP as a stunning classic that will be recognized. It sparkles and catches eyes. If that’s what you want in your next piece, there’s probably nothing better.

The VC is more subtle. More versatile. More comfortable. This is an extremely beautiful holy trinity piece but with less “hype” and recognizability, which I really appreciate in certain situations. Oh and, arguably the best blue in the business. I also feel this is the better value piece when you consider how complete of a package it is.

Which do you like better? Make sure you try both on.
