White on the date

I notice with older Rolex dates, the white on the date display under the cyclops seems to yellow/age. I realize nothing lasts forever, but is there anything different with the new Rolex watches that preserves/delays this from happening? I have only one date Rolex, but makes me think about not getting the date function with future Rolex watches.

I mean... you should be fine. Worse comes to worst you can get the date wheel replaced

On some of them, it's intended to be a yellow/cream.

I believe the cream or light yellow colored date wheels are for 2 tones. At least on the 2 tone watches that I have.
The solids have white date wheels.

Definitely true for the older references, I wonder if this still holds true for the newer references??

White on the date
