Incoming not a Rolex

Sorry for a non-Rolex post....Rolex, PP, & Cartier favorite watches, and key components of my collection, but I have been wanting a VC Overseas Blue/Steel, it arrived this morning. Love it.

I think the DJ41 Blue will not get much wrist time for a while....and I realize now why VC is a trilogy classic ‘manufacture’. It’s a great to collection.

My question is how do you mostly Rolex collectors feel about the VC Overseas model.

Thank you.

Nice pick up. Congrats! I too recently added a blue dial Overseas to my collection. My first VC as well. The finish on the OS is fantastic. I am really impressed with the watch. VC has not gotten much fanfare for a number of reasons versus PP, AP, and Rolex. Not independently owned, resale value, poor marketing being among some of the reasons. I think they produce top tier watches and I am certainly happy for purchasing my first VC.

If you showed another Rolex, you would have had to congratulate you by thirty. This VC is beautiful.

Totally agree with you on all counts. It’s really quite superb timepiece.

Cheers

Blue dials are hot right now. This applies to both the Rolex DJ and AP RO as well as the new Overseas.

Yes have the DJ41, with fluted gold Bezel. VC better blue and overall. VC only a few recognize, but those are the “collectors”. A young collector friend (Rolex) and was very impressed by it, so he was of my Aquanaut. Had never seen in his hands. That’s how difficult. People can tried them.

VC re-save night not be as good. But I’m not getting rid of it.
Best

Congratulations! Stunning watch.

Just be careful - the other watches in your collection are going to jealous of all the wrist time it is going to get ))

I am afraid of such situation—-for a while.

Please No apologies needed, there's room for both in a collection. I love my 4500v as well as my DJ41. The VC is like a DJ on steroids. Enjoy that Beauty!!...
