Maybe off topic?
I have a general opinion to share in the hope that some reseller read this and find it helpful to their business.
I purchased so far 5 high end watches here in the forum. When i spend 10/20/30k i like to ask a lot of question about the item i am buying. Why? Because i value the money and i expect a certain level of service when dealing with expensive items. I found myself buying from private collectors only as they are the only people who are willing to answer many question. Anytime i ask question to resellers i am generally ignored Or given a brief dry answer. The result is that i am not moving forward with a purchase with people that have no patience in dealing with me. I call this a missed opportunity from resellers and poor customer service. I am trying to add a black daytona to my collection and found resellers with no time for me. No polemic and no name to share here, just my two cents to people who want to listen. Thanks! And good luck. ![]() |

Interesting that you have experienced this from our sellers here on TRF. My Experience is that our big Trusted Sellers will spend as much time as necessary with me answering questions. If I send an email or a text it may take a bit for them to get back to me and that is ok. If I need more direct answers I call. I guess it is who you are contacting and what is the nature of the questions. I don't see customer service as a waste of time for the sellers but depending on the circumstances and your purchase history they might not spend unlimited time with you.
