He was kidding about the cyclops. Congrats, I have the Deepsea. I'm still on the fence, even though I have very large wrists. Glad to hear you love yours.

Nice watch! I actually had both the older 116660 and 126660 at the same time. Ended up liking the 116660 more and selling the new version. I much prefer the dimensions of the older one as well as the slim bracelet. Much more comfortable.

It's a great watch and also my favourite Rolex.
I had the 116660 but now have changed for the new model 126660, it's worth it in my opinion, the wider bracelet looks and feels better but it's also shorter lug to Lug now, the original was good but these small changes make it now excellent!

I was thinking if I went to handle anything 5 digit and put it against any DeepSea, I'd leave with the DeepSea. A solid engineering feat built for the bottom of the ocean, vs tuna can bracelet

Anyway I walked in, and the lady pulled out the Pepsi and the DSSD and put them down... I instantly looked at the DSSD and fell in love. Someone told me the newer model had a thicker bracelet and this is a 2013 model but my god, I love it!! Its my favourite Rolex in my collection now, its not been off my wrist and I doubt it will be coming off any time soon. Everything about it is amazing, I had no idea how HUGE they are! So nice!

There’s something about the design of Rolex divers that is more than the sum of its parts.
When I look at them in pictures or at mine on my wrist is like seeing it for the first time. I just can’t stop enjoying the look.
Congrats on your mega diver, I understand why you picked it up over the BLRO, I did just that too.

Congratulations on The Beast! That is truly the most over engineered Rolex out there. I can't believe how this piece seems to fly under the radar. Enjoy!!...
