Incoming GS SBGA001

Received this two days ago but it took a bit to get it sized. It's now on my wrist. This is my second SG (first was 9F62 powered; this one 9R65 powered) and my first watch using Spring Drive. Curious how they do with shock resistance in comparison to Rolex. Their water resistance rating don't seem to equate from what I can tell. At any rate, without further ado...

Such a great watch on so many levels. And that dial!

I own a Spring Drive but I use it as a dress watch so I couldn’t tell you about it’s durability.

I’m really loving yours. Enjoy it!

Much thanks!!! This will get worn in the rotation; I can definitely see it as a dress watch. I like the dial a lot. Supposedly GS's most complex dial to assemble (not certain but I've seen it in posts in various places).

Here's an SBGA001 write-up.

Thanks, all; the watch is everything I was hoping for in a GS; so far it's good to about a second per day as well. I'll be wearing if this week with the exception of trips to the beach!!!

Top tip - the watch isn't sentient so doesn't know it's at the beach... it's good for 10 bar / 100m of static water pressure... so unless you're doing something extreme where you may impact the water surface at xx mph... just wear it anyway!

Enjoy.

Actually I was thinking more about sand and the bracelet since I don't have a strap for it.

That IS a great watch congrats.

Take it to the beach if you feel like it just rinse it well after. They are made to be worn.
