I've seen watches with serial engraved on the rehaut and inbetween lugs. Is that legit? I thought it was either/or.

During transition period from non RRR rehault to RRR rehault, s/n was engraved on both locations for the watches with RRR rehault. As soon as all Rolex watches have had this rehault, Rolex stopped engraving s/n between lugs.

That have "affected" watches from Z to G series if I remember well.

I did see one with Z serial.
