Is the Hulk further expected to go up in price?

So people, the hulk is being offered in the grey market for about £17000-£18000 currently in the UK. Pretty much same or similar in other countries too, I hear.
My questions to all of you is, do you see the prices rising beyond the current astronomical price? The guy at the store said his personal opinion is that the Hulk has hit the ceiling price and may appreciate, but not a lot more.

Do y’all folks think that it’s going to go up further exponentially, say in the next 5 -7 years?
I’m considering buying one and am thinking if it’s wise to spend close to £18000 On a watch will will only appreciate slightly in the next few years?

Would love to hear your opinions.
Thanks

As much as I love the Hulk, this is too expensive for what it is...

You must be mad to even contemplate spending 17-18k on a sub. I don't think the price will appreciate at all, I wouldn't pay 10k for one, can't believe people are paying that much for green subs, unreal.

£18000 for a steel submariner, not a chance. I'd feel so upset when I got it home.

If you ask strangers questions about investing in toys and theoretical values, i can only imagine how many questions you ask your financial advisor about real money.

Whatever you spend on a watch shouldn’t be based on a fake future value. Most of us wouldn’t spend anywhere near that on a hulk. I wouldn’t pay MSRP, so 20k or whatever people pay now is hysterical.

Unless your buying Patek, modern stainless watches are not investments. If you have something you want to dump, do it now. If someone is dumb enough to give you 20k for a hulk, you should take it immediately.

There’s no need for your sarcasm. And no, I’m not asking to sell as I don’t have a hulk. However, I’d very much like to buy one, and this being a forum, I think it’s fair to ask what I’ve stated above.

Welcome to TRF. Perhaps do a search first as this has been discussed quite a bit.

I just paid a huge premium for a brand new Hulk but only because I loved it. It spoke to me when I put it on. Now it’s my daily beater watch.

The current price is in my opinion not long term sustainable, they are so high, that they probably cannot go much higher. So I would only buy one if you’re in love with it. I would not buy it because you think it’s going up.

The Hulk is the only watch I’ve ever paid over retail for. I’m getting everything else at MSRP and some of my watches have a double street value. I guess that’s how I justified getting robbed on the Hulk. At the end of the day, I did it because it I wanted it for a daily beater not an investment. I’m very happy with my decision. I think I’ll wear it today.

I have a BNIB Hulk for sale that I will give you the TRF discount of 20% . List is $30K so $24K for you as a TRF member just PM me. I will not even charge you taxes or insured shipping. Since Rolex's are considered investment instruments; I will throw in a Swiss made Swatch Watch. This will enable you to have a Swiss time piece that you will be able to wear with confidence and without fear of loss in investment value.
