Trade 116610LN for 126600 ?

Hello
I have been eyeing the Sd43 (newer model) for sometime. I have the sub c date 2018 and wanted to trade/sell for a sea dweller . I have a 6.5 inch wrist and want this as a daily wear. Has anyone made the switch and if so , with 6.5 inch wrist would it feel too heavy/large on wrist ? I love the beautiful dial with red lettering.

I think it may be a bit big based on your wrist size.

The shape of your wrist also makes a difference. If it's flat, rather than round, I think you can pull it off. If round, you risk the lugs overhanging from the sides of your wrist and that takes away from the appearance in my opinion. Good luck!!

Edit: the SD43 is a great watch btw!

Hi - I am in the exact same position. Folks with SD43 and relatively small to medium sized wrist (6.5” to 7”). Please post your SD43 wrist shots. Also, since the new sub is now 41mm, closing in to the 43mm.

Agree⬆️⬆️⬆️ Also the size of your arm past your wrist will make a difference. It’s a great proportioned watch, fits many size wrists (IMO)
I have both sub and SD....tough call, but the SD is special! Good luck!

SD43 is a pretty special watch. It just feels like so much more on the wrist. I still really enjoy my Sub Date but the Sea Dweller feels more like the long term keeper. Great presence, balance, fit etc. I’m 5’10 170ish pounds, 7” flat wrist and I think it fits me very well.

I did and I'm very happy with my choice! The SD43 is a perfect daily watch, if and only if you like a bigger watch!

As difficult as this may be, I would try one on first...Yes, I know, easier said than done...
But it's not a small watch...
I have worn mine all day everyday for a year now and love it...But then again I have an 8" wrist so...???

I wouldn’t, I’d stick with your sub

Is it technically a better watch?

Yes

Is it a beefier, bigger watch?

Yes

It’s kind of what you want out of your timepiece

I was fortunate to wear my friends SD43 for around 24 hours before deciding to buy.
Just make sure you like the fit.

SD43 is the perfect watch for me

I sold my sub for the SD43 and couldn’t be happier. The watch is killer and is a notch above the sub, never get tired from looking at it. I have a 7.75 wrist and fits perfectly but would recommend you find one to try on before you pull the trigger.
